MACH 2 Atmosphere Upgrade Kit – Convert from Recirculating to Atmosphere Venting

This kit includes:

• Trumpet for enhanced sound
• Firmer spring (6115) for optimal performance
• 33mm hose plug to block the recirculation hose

To vent the Mach 2 to the atmosphere, the piston must stay closed at idle, and the recirc hose must be plugged. The 5933 Atmosphere Conversion Kit provides everything needed, including a trumpet to replace the hose outlet (enhancing the sound), a 33mm hose plug, and a firmer spring (6115).

The Mach 2 comes with a softer 6116 spring, suitable for recirculating setups or cars with an idle vacuum of 18inHg or less. If the piston stays closed with the stock spring, no change is needed. However, if it remains open at idle—even with maxed-out pre-load—the firmer 6115 spring should be installed to prevent stalling or backfiring.
